	Description:
	Currently S2Tech is looking for several Business Analysts.
	Under general direction, supports the development, enhancement, and maintenance of business solutions using information technology based on customer needs. Business support is responsible for issue management and resolution, change management support and validation, and coordination of key account projects and/or activities.
	Specific Skills/Essential Functions:
	Acts as a liaison between customers, the client account and other support groups to identify business processes, systems, and product requirements. Documents customer specifications and interacts with other support groups to apply understanding of customer's business. Supports aspects of the business cycle including proposals, feasibility studies, implementations, and new business development. Plans and leads customer projects with some guidance. Anticipates researches, identifies, and develops solutions to customer problems. Participates in training activities for peers and customers. Initiates measures to eliminate non-value added activities through process improvement. Ability to interact with customers and corporate personnel to diagnose and resolve problems. gathering requirements developing, modifying or enhancing business processes developing solid business designs for applications.
	Qualifications:
	Associates degree or equivalent work experience HIPAA, MMIS, Medicare experience (preferably one year or more) is Mandatory Very strong written and oral communication skills Very strong presentation skills (training and education skills), to communicate change impact to users Strong customer service skills Strong PC skills (MS Office Tools) Demonstrates experience in quality improvement, personal empowerment, diversity and teamwork Ability to write, execute, and document test cases in order to test assigned system changes Ability to make recommendations to management on project related actions Ability to coordinate interaction with State staff and client's business units to assist in defining, understanding and achieving the client*s goals related to the HIPAA implementation Ability to write Change Orders, bulletins, newsletter articles, manuals and banner pages as needed

Java Developer

	Description:
	Qualities of the Java Developer include:
	fully qualified individual producer who applies a broad knowledge of development concepts, practices and procedures with a minimum of 3-7 years of progressively responsible experience with Java and J2EE development. Must be proficient with SQL, Oracle PL/SQL experience is a plus. Incumbents are competent to work on fairly complex assignments (and/or portions of larger, complex systems) and perform a full range of development activities. The incumbent generally works under deadlines and is capable of handling heavy workloads, and operating with only general supervision, although errors at this level can cause delay, expense and/or disruption. May provide occasional functional guidance to less experienced staff. Incumbents are responsible for the installation, development, implementation, and customization of software system elements.
	REPRESENTATIVE PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
	Work with project management on the coordination, development, and implementation of new/improved system functionality including testing, troubleshooting, and equipment ordering. Communicate project status and provide quality documentation as well as generate any other reports requested or required by the client and management. Provide technical support and information/training on the use of software utilities and operating procedures to the affected end-users. Participation in the development and preparation of documentation for, but not limited to, procedural, program and user documentation. Works with users to ensure successful system implementation; may assist in user training. Occasionally, may provide guidance and assists in training of less experienced staff. May research or write portions of technical proposals. Maintains state-of-the-art knowledge and compiles information into recommendations and analyses.
	Education and Typical Years of Experience:
	Bachelor*s degree in a related technical field or equivalent work experience. Minimum 3-7 years of progressively responsible related technical experience with Java and J2EE. Experience in development of healthcare systems is a plus.
	Special Requirements:
	J2EE application development (preferably using Websphere) Struts or other MVC framework, Junit or other unit testing framework, Source control (preferably a concurrent tool like CVS or Subversion). Moderate to expert SQL skills. Working with applications through the majority of their development lifecycle (implementation to production). Success in medium to large team environments. Familiarity with Unix or Linux environments. Experience with the following is desired: Test-drive development, Continuous integration, Pair programming, XP/Agile development background, HttpUnit log4j, Filenet, Actuate.
